Event Details
This Reading Week we are looking for volunteers to assist with
an improvement project in San Jose, Costa Rica.
Volunteers will improve the learning environment by assisting
with tasks such as sanding, washing walls, painting and
creating educational murals. The team will also be helping
with basic repairs such as repairing doors, windows, flooring
and furniture.
Total Program Fee is $1,445 CAN
******($400 deposit due on January 1st otherwise there is a $75 late fee)
Included:
• airport reception
• accommodation and meals
• placement transportation
• orientation and safety briefings
• project materials
• coordinator assistance
• 24/7 emergency support
• fundraising assistance
Not Included:
• international flight
• airport taxes (Leaving CR you must pay $26 USD cash only)
• arrival visas (Only needed if you are staying for more than 90 days)
• medical/cancellation insurance
If you decide to go, I will help you find the cheapest flights, create fundraising ideas, assist you with the online registration process, inform you on what vaccinations you have to get or anything else you might need.
